General Terms and Conditions Swiss Ski School Meiringen-Hasliberg (hereinafter SSMH)
By booking a service offer, the guest recognizes these "General Terms and Conditions of SSMH" as binding for the reservation made by him - also for third parties. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the "General Terms and Conditions of SSMH" shall apply to all transactions between SSMH and the customer.
Contractual relationship
The contractual relationship comes into effect as soon as a booking is made on site, by telephone, by e-mail or via the online booking system. A booking by e-mail is binding as soon as it has been confirmed by us.
The cost of the entire booking must be paid at the latest before the start of the first activity.
Lessons and courses take place in all weathers. If the mountain railroads have to suspend operations due to weather conditions, the lessons will take place in the Bidmi, in Skihäsliland. The SSMH reserves the right to change, cancel or discontinue the program or individual services after conclusion of the contract and also during the activity if natural and/or weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (breakdown of cable car and lift facilities, force majeure, official measures and/or safety measures or other risks) make this necessary. No refunds will be made if lessons are canceled for these reasons.
The SSMH course ticket is personal and non-transferable. The use of the ski school's own beginners' lifts, conveyor belts etc. in Skihäsliland is included. The prices do not include a lift pass for the ski area and equipment rental.
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship
Cancellation of the booking by the guest is subject to a charge as follows:
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship for ski school lessons
- Less than 24 hours before the start of the course -> 100% of the course costs
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship Events of the ski school
- 3 to 6 days before the event date -> 50% of the course costs
- Less than 3 days before the event date -> 100% of the course costs
Payments already made by the guest will be offset against the cancellation costs. A credit balance in favor of the guest will be issued in the form of a voucher or refunded after deduction of a processing fee of 5%.
In the event of late arrival or early departure from the activity by the guest and/or any possible termination of the activity as a result, there is no entitlement to a refund from the SSMH. Each lesson or group course commenced will be charged in full.
Incapacity due to accident or illness
In the event of complete or partial inability to attend classes due to illness or accident, there is no right to a refund or to reschedule the course. The aforementioned cancellation policy remains unaffected. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. SSMH offers PassProtect insurance for CHF 4 per person per day.
Insurance/liability
The guest is not insured by the SSMH. The SSMH accepts no liability for accidents before, during or after the use of a service. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the guest.
Group lessons
Lessons at the SSMH are given if there is a declared minimum number of participants. If the declared group size is not reached, SSMH reserves the right to adjust the course offer, combine groups, shorten the teaching time or cancel courses at short notice. Changes of teacher are possible.
Image material
The guest agrees, without compensation, that SSMH may use photographic material taken during lessons or other events.
Complaint
The guest shall address any complaints to the management.
